David grew up on a small farm in Mpumalanga in rural South Africa, and was introduced to carpentry at a young age by his father. He studied viticulture but the urge to design using the natural materials around him was irresistible and he followed his heart. David has a burning passion for experimentation with shape and form, and this adventurous curiosity has resulted in designs that are, quite honestly, so scorching hot they bring tears to our eyes.
